A 1921 Berlin portfolio of Oriental carpets compiled by Werner Grote-Hasenbalg with Reinhart von Oettingen, issued by Scarabaeus-Verlag for collectors, dealers and museum audiences. The 57 colour plates show whole rugs and runners flat-on: lattices of small botehs and rosettes, medallion panels, stepped hooked motifs and stacked guard borders in madder red, indigo and ivory.
