Meisterstücke orientalischer Knüpfkunst
A German connoisseur's portfolio of Oriental carpets, compiled by Werner Grote-Hasenbalg with Reinhart von Oettingen and published in Berlin in 1921 for collectors, dealers and museum buyers. The plates reproduce whole rugs in colour, with captioned dimensions and knot counts: geometric Caucasian medallions, dense Persian herati fields, and multi-band borders usable as ready-made repeat patterns and palettes.
