Meisterwerke der Älteren Pinakothek in München ...
A 1922 Munich picture-gallery catalogue from F. Hanfstaengl, compiled by Eberhard Hanfstaengl, reproducing 291 paintings from the Alte Pinakothek for museum visitors and art students. The plates are soft-toned halftones of Old Master oils — Madonnas, saints, deposition scenes, portraits and architectural interiors — useful for figure groupings, drapery folds, and dark tonal backgrounds.
