A Florentine local church history of 1714, compiled by Giovanni Battista Casotti and printed by Giuseppe Manni, recording the miraculous image of the Virgin at Impruneta, its festivals and buildings for clergy and lay devotees. Engraved plates by Cosimo Mogalli and Alessandro Saller give measured plans, elevations and sections of the sanctuary with scrollwork title cartouches, alongside woodcut initials filled with acanthus, pomegranates and winged masks usable as drop caps and ornament.
