A two-volume Italian art-historical survey by Domenico Maria Federici, published in Venice by Francesco Andreola in 1803, tracing Trevisan drawing and painting from 1100 to 1800 for antiquarians and art historians. The pictures are small letterpress woodcut ornaments — hilltop villas and church complexes framed by scrolling acanthus, and shields bearing a battlemented gatehouse — useful as chapter headpieces, tailpieces, and heraldic cartouche outlines.
