Men, women and mirth ...
A collection of humorous drawings reprinted from the American weekly Life, issued by Life Publishing Company in New York in 1909 for a middle-class magazine readership. Pen-and-ink and crayon-shaded figure studies show courting couples, evening dress, ballroom and parlor scenes, with loose hatched backgrounds and signed corners, useful for period costume silhouettes, caricatured faces, and spot illustrations with open space around them.
