Methods of obtaining cooling curves
A 1908 technical bulletin by G. K. Burgess, issued by the National Bureau of Standards in Washington for laboratory physicists and metallurgists measuring metal cooling rates with thermocouples and galvanometers. Line drawings show wiring schematics with labelled platinum leads, mirror-and-lens galvanometer layouts, recording drums, and plotted curve types on ruled fields — usable as clean circuit diagrams, instrument outlines, and graph motifs.
