Meubles, sièges, bronzes, dessins
A photographic plate portfolio issued by Armand Guérinet in Paris around 1900, recording furniture, seating, bronzes and carved woodwork in the collections of the Musée des arts décoratifs for cabinetmakers, carvers and design students. The plates are close raking-light photographs of carved panels, pilasters and boiseries, with rococo cartouches, trophies of musical and gardening instruments, acanthus scrolls and flower swags isolated against plain grounds, usable as ornament silhouettes, frame motifs or texture.
