The Millers of Haddington, Dunbar and Dunfermline; a record of Scottish bookselling
A history of the Miller family's bookselling and printing businesses in Haddington, Dunbar and Dunfermline, written by W. J. Couper and published by T. F. Unwin in London in 1914 for readers of Scottish book-trade and printing history. The plates reproduce crude chapbook woodcuts and small line blocks alongside views of churches and town buildings, giving designers heavily hatched, broken-edged vignettes of crowds, scaffold scenes, seated figures and steepled kirks.
