Mineral resources of the United States
An annual United States government report on mining and mineral production, compiled by the Geological Survey and Bureau of Mines and printed by the Government Printing Office in Washington from 1882, for legislators, mine operators, and the metals trade. The plates are folding survey maps with county outlines, rail lines, and keyed symbols marking deposits of gold, silver, copper, coal, and iron, printed in thin line work on tinted grounds usable as base maps, legend sets, and territorial outlines.
