A Victorian genealogical and heraldic serial, published in London by Hamilton, Adams and Co. from 1868 for antiquaries and family historians tracing English pedigrees. The 310 line engravings are shields, quartered coats, crests on helms with mantling, and cartouche frames of acanthus scrollwork, with letters marking tinctures — usable as heraldic motifs, ornamental frames and small repeatable charges.
