Collected research papers of the German physicist Heinrich Hertz, translated into English by D. E. Jones and G. A. Schott and published by Macmillan in 1896 for physicists and advanced students. The plates are fine-line engineering and field diagrams: streamlines bending through circles, arrowed flux loops around poles, numbered scales and apparatus sections, useful as spare linear pattern and diagram vocabulary.
