A two-part model book of needlework patterns issued by the Nuremberg printer and publisher Paul Fürst around 1660 for embroiderers and lacemakers working in counted stitch. Each numbered plate prints a black-on-cream grid of filled squares building repeating floral, heart, star and strapwork motifs inside a ruled border, usable as ready-made pixel patterns, diaper grounds, borders and tiling textures.
