A model housing law
A drafted model statute with commentary on tenement and dwelling regulation, written by housing reformer Lawrence Veiller and issued in New York by Survey Associates in 1914 for legislators, city officials, and housing reform committees. The illustrations are plain line diagrams: floor plans showing living rooms, yards, and water-closet placement, hatched wall sections, dimension arrows, and small capitalized labels useful as schematic plan motifs, rule-and-arrow measurement marks, and hatch textures.
