Modelling; a guide for teachers and students
A three-volume manual on clay modelling written by Édouard Lanteri, sculpture instructor at the Royal College of Art, and published in London by Chapman and Hall in 1902 for art students and teachers. The plates run to anatomical line drawings of human and animal limbs, with muscles, tendons and bones drawn in clean outline and keyed by leader lines to lettered captions, alongside studies of casts and figures useful for diagram borrowing and anatomical silhouettes.
