A two-volume lunar atlas compiled from Johann Nepomuk Krieger's drawings and sketches made at the Pia Observatory in Trieste, published posthumously in Vienna by E. H. Mayer in 1912 for astronomers and observatory libraries. The plates are coarse halftone and lithographic renderings of crater fields, ridges and terminator shadows, with fine pen hatching worked over photographic grey, giving designers grainy monochrome textures, hard crescent shadows and ring shapes on aged cream paper.
