Monograph of United States cents and half cents issued between the years 1793 and 1857: to which is added a table of the principal coins, tokens, jetons, medalets, patterns of coinage and Washington pieces, generally classified under the head of colonial coins. A contribution to the numismatic history of the United States
A numismatic monograph by Edouard Frossard, self-published at Irvington, New York, in 1878, cataloguing United States cents and half cents struck between 1793 and 1857 for collectors and dealers. The plates are photographic grids of coins in rows of five or six, obverses and reverses shown together, printed in warm brown on cream, with small red numerals keyed to the text; useful for circular medallic forms, dated profile heads, wreath and lettered reverses, and repeating grid layouts.
