Monumenta peloponnesia : commentariis explicata
A two-volume Latin antiquarian commentary on Greek sculpture and inscriptions from the Peloponnese, written by the Italian scholar and librarian Paolo Paciaudi and printed in Rome in 1761 for collectors and students of classical antiquity. The engravings are small line-and-hatch records of marble statues, draped female figures on plinths, profile heads with headdresses, reliefs and inscribed stones, set loose in the text column, useful for drapery studies, figure silhouettes and Greek letterforms.
