Monuments of the early church
Walter Lowrie's 1901 handbook of Christian antiquities, published by Macmillan in New York as a student's survey of early church art, architecture and epigraphy. Illustrations are plain outline line drawings of small objects and monuments, such as the obverse and reverse of fourth-century Roman coins showing an imperial portrait, a seated Roma, and the wolf with twins under stars.
