Motifs pour broderies. (IIIme série)

Dillmont, Thérèse de, 1846-1890 · 1900 · Mulhouse (Alsace) Th. de Dillmont [Impr. de la Société anonyme Dollfus, Mieg & Cie] · 28 pictures

A pattern album of embroidery motifs issued by Th\u00e9r\u00e8se de Dillmont's Mulhouse press around 1900, printed for needleworkers following counted-thread and cross-stitch techniques. The plates show colour photographs of worked samplers on plain linen ground: running borders of stylised carnations and scrolling vines, corner units, and repeating field patterns in rust, blue-green, dark red and gold, all built from square stitches, giving designers ready-made grid-based ornament, palettes, and edge treatments.
