Mouldings, mirrors, pictures and frames.
A trade catalogue of mouldings, mirrors, pictures and frames issued in 1884 by Geo. N. Lee & Co. of Chicago for retailers, framers and furniture buyers. The plates are wood-engraved frame designs in heavy black and white, with oval and arched openings, incised Eastlake ornament, fan and leaf corner blocks, and ruled hatching that reads as gilt and ebonised wood; useful as ready-made borders, cartouche shapes and blank fields for type.
