M. P.'s in session, from Mr. Punch's parliamentary portrait gallery
A collection of Harry Furniss's caricatures of Members of Parliament, drawn for Punch and issued in London by Bradbury, Agnew & Co. in 1889 for a readership following Westminster politics. The 290 pen drawings show single standing men in frock coats and top hats, built from loose hatching and blank backgrounds, useful for figure silhouettes, gestural line, and spot portraits.
