Multiplex combinations for economic telegraphy and telephony
A 1913 engineering thesis by Rupert Forrest Jones, written at the University of Illinois, setting out multiplex circuit schemes for sharing telegraph and telephone traffic on one line. The plates are hand-drawn wiring diagrams on tinted paper: coils, relays, batteries and grounds linked by ruled lines and labelled in pen, useful as technical line art, diagram motifs, or lettered schematic fragments.
