Municipal record
The Municipal Record was the weekly bulletin of San Francisco's Board of Supervisors, issued from 1908 for city officials and citizens tracking public works, planning, and civic improvement. Its images are masthead engravings: heavy outlined slab capitals overlapped by the city-and-county seal, with a rope border, rising sun, miner and sailor, and the mottos "Oro en paz, fierro en guerra."
