Municipal record
Municipal Record is the weekly bulletin of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, issued from 1908 for city officials and residents reporting ordinances, public works and civic improvement. The plates are masthead blocks: heavy condensed sans-serif capitals paired with the city and county seal showing a miner and sailor, rising sun, ship and the motto "Oro en paz, fierro en guerra."
