Municipal record
An official weekly bulletin of proceedings issued by the Board of Supervisors of San Francisco from 1908, printed for city officers, department heads, and residents tracking public works and civic improvement. The plates are masthead fragments: the circular City and County of San Francisco seal, with Minerva, a miner, a bear and a ship above the motto Oro en Paz, Fierro en Guerra, set against heavy condensed gothic capitals useful for municipal emblems, seal outlines, and display lettering.
