Municipal record
Municipal Record, the weekly bulletin of San Francisco's Board of Supervisors begun in 1908, reported civic improvement, city planning and public works to officials and residents. Halftone photographs and pen-and-ink architectural renderings show classical library facades with columned loggias, Gothic and Spanish Revival school buildings, street crowds and panoramic views of the early city — useful for civic lettering, building elevations and skyline silhouettes.
