Municipal record
Municipal Record is the official bulletin of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, published in 1908 for city officials and residents during the rebuilding that followed the 1906 earthquake and fire. Its coarse halftones show new and half-finished public schools and civic buildings photographed from the street, alongside a heavy outlined masthead carrying the city and county seal; useful for reconstruction-era construction sites, plain classical facades, and early civic display lettering.
