The weekly proceedings bulletin of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, printed in the city from 1908 for officials, civil servants and residents tracking public works and civic business. The plates are mastheads: the City and County seal — miner, sailor, ship, Phoenix and rising sun in a ring of lettering — set into heavy condensed slab capitals, useful for seal artwork, nameplate layouts and bold display type.
