Municipal record
Municipal Record was the weekly bulletin of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, issued by the city government from 1908 for officials, clerks and citizens tracking ordinances, public works and civic improvement. The images are masthead fragments in heavy slab-serif capitals overlapping the city and county seal, a rope-bordered roundel with a phoenix, a miner, a sailor, ships and the motto Oro en Paz, Fierro en Guerra.
