Municipal record
An official bulletin issued by the Board of Supervisors of San Francisco beginning in 1908, reporting on public works, civic improvement and city planning for city officials and residents rebuilding after the earthquake and fire. The plates are coarse-screen halftones and architect's perspective renderings of schoolhouses, civic buildings and waterfront frontages, many mid-construction with scaffolding, rubble and small figures for scale, useful for period building elevations, textured newsprint grain and sparse pencil-line landscape settings.
