A descriptive catalogue of the statues, busts, reliefs, sepulchral urns and inscriptions of the Capitoline collection, written by Giovanni Pietro Lucatelli and printed in Rome by Bernabò e Lazzarini in 1750 for antiquarians and visitors to the museum. The printed ornament runs to headpieces and tailpieces cut in line: acanthus scrolls, scallop shells, husk and flower swags, winged cherub heads, and a flower-filled basket flanked by putti, usable as rules, dividers, and small symmetrical cartouche frames.
