Museum Odescalchum, sive, Thesaurus antiquarum gemmarum : cum imaginibus in iisdem insculptis, et iisdem exsculptis, quæ a serenissima Christina svecorum regina collectæ in Museo Odescalcho adservantur, et a Petro Sancte Bartolo quondam incisæ, nunc primum in lucem proferuntur ..
A two-volume antiquarian catalogue of the ancient engraved gems collected by Queen Christina of Sweden and later held in the Odescalchi museum, engraved by Pietro Santi Bartoli with commentary by Niccolò Galeotti and printed in Rome in 1751 for collectors and scholars of antiquity. The plates reproduce intaglio gem designs of gods, heroes and portrait heads as line engravings, while the text pages carry framed initial letters standing in small landscapes of broken columns, trees, walled towns and temple fronts, usable as alphabet ornaments, mythological figure outlines and ruin vignettes.
