The mystic test book; or, The magic of the cards. Giving the mystic meaning of these wonderful and ancient emblems in their relationship to the heavenly bodies, under all conditions; with rules and processes for reading or delineating the emblems
A cartomancy manual by Olney H. Richmond, published in Chicago in 1919, teaching readers to read playing cards as astrological emblems. Its plates are grids and spreads of small woodcut-style card faces, with blocky pip clusters and crudely engraved court figures printed in black on tinted paper, useful as ready-made card icons, layout grids, and pattern fills.
