The Electrical experimenter
A monthly popular-science and radio magazine edited by Hugo Gernsback in New York, issued in 1918 for amateur electricians, chemists and home experimenters. Halftone photo montages of basement laboratories sit beside trade-school diagrams and catalogue pages of flasks, coils and Leyden jars, supplying line-drawn apparatus, captioned photo grids and dense early-century advertising typography.
