Canadian textile journal
A Canadian trade periodical for textile mill owners and managers, published from 1908 onward by the Canadian Textile Journal Pub. Co. in Quebec and held by the University of Toronto. The pages shown are full-page advertisements combining machinery halftones, isolated line cuts of spooler guides and chain drives, a soft-focus figure illustration for cotton prints, heavy slab lettering and a checkerboard border — useful for period industrial ad layouts, machine-part silhouettes and display type.
