Recent advances in ceramic materials appli- cable in space technology (recents progres dans les materiaux ceramiques utilisables en technologie spatiale)
A 1965 NASA technical report by J. Schmitt, issued in French and English, surveying ceramic and composite materials for spacecraft use, written for aerospace engineers and materials researchers. The plates are high-contrast reproductions — a furnace or press interior collapsed into solid black and white shapes, and hand-drawn line graphs with plotted points and dashed lines — useful as abstract blocks and chart marks.
