A 1967 NASA technical report by P. F. Becher and M. H. Leipold describing a tension testing machine for brittle ceramics, written for engineers and materials researchers. The plates are line drawings: labelled cross-sections of gas bearings, pull rods and specimen grips, an exploded parts column, and a perspective view of the full frame with leader-line callouts and hatched sections.
