RESIDUAL GAS INVESTIGATIONS DURING THE ESRO 1 SATELLITE TESTS
A 1971 technical report by G. Saenger and W. Shickle on residual gas measurements taken during vacuum-chamber testing of the ESRO 1 satellite, issued for aerospace engineers and distributed through NASA's technical report collection. The plates are photocopied line graphs: mass-spectrometer peak spectra, logarithmic outgassing curves for nitrogen, hydrogen and water vapor plotted against test days, and stepped square-wave traces, all on dashed grids with typed and hand-inked labels that have degraded into blotchy, high-contrast marks useful as scientific texture or diagram stock.
