A 1960 Soviet physics paper by Vernov, Chudakov, Gortchakov and Grigorov on trapped corpuscular radiation around the Earth, circulated to researchers as a NASA technical report. The single plate is a hand-lettered line graph: four curves labelled by geomagnetic latitude climbing steeply then falling across an altitude axis, with Cyrillic units and a stacked fraction in the axis label.
