Space processing of composite materials
A 1975 NASA technical report by W. H. Steurer and S. Kaye on processing composite materials in low gravity, written for aerospace engineers and program planners. The plates are coarse-grained black-and-white laboratory photographs of induction-heating rigs: Lepel generator cabinets with labelled dials and switches, glass vacuum columns, bellows couplings and microscope stands, reproduced at high contrast with dust specks and blown-out highlights.
