A means of in-situ measurements of neutral H and He on an out-of-the-ecliptic mission

Hsieh, K. C · 1976 · 3 pictures

A 1976 NASA technical report by K. C. Hsieh proposing an instrument to measure neutral hydrogen and helium in situ from a spacecraft leaving the plane of the ecliptic, written for mission planners and solar physicists. Line-drawn pulse-height spectra with labelled peaks and arrows sit beside a block diagram of ionization tips, amplifier and analyzer, useful as plain technical schematic and graph forms.
