Josef Vajs's 1910 edition of the oldest Croatian Glagolitic breviary, the First Vrbnik Breviary, issued in Prague by the Royal Bohemian Society of Sciences for Slavists and manuscript scholars, with an introduction and bibliographic descriptions of early Glagolitic breviaries. The plates are photographic facsimiles of parchment leaves: dense two-column angular Glagolitic script in dark ink with red rubrics and initials, showing stains, worn edges and torn fragments, useful as texture, lettering reference, or abstract pattern.
