A netting and guipure d'art instruction manual by Eléonore Riego de la Branchardière, issued in London by Simpkin, Marshall and Co. in 1879 for women working lace at home. The few plates are hard line engravings: obverse and reverse of exhibition prize medals showing profile heads, allegorical figures and lettered rims, and a bell-shaped mesh gauge marked with numbered holes and pegs, all usable as stark black-and-white emblems or diagram stock.
