Neu hervorkommendes Weber Kunst und Bild Buch
A German weaver's pattern book compiled and published by Nathaniel Lumscher in Kulmbach in 1736 for handloom weavers working figured linens and coverlets. The 375 plates are printed in a single ochre ink as square repeats built from small blocks and crosses on grid units, giving designers ready-made geometric tiling patterns, checker lattices and damask draft layouts with the texture of old laid paper.
