[New illustrated catalogue of furniture and general price list]

Laverton & Co. (Bristol, England) · 1875 · The Company, Bristol, England · 374 pictures

A trade catalogue and price list issued by Laverton & Co. of Bristol in 1875, made for furniture retailers and household buyers ordering by model number. Small wood-engraved cuts show single pieces in three-quarter view against blank grounds — dressing tables with arched swing mirrors, hall chairs with shield backs and turned legs, cabriole-legged hall benches — drawn in dense parallel hatching that suits silhouette cut-outs, spot ornament, and pattern repeats.
