New York plaisance
A 1908 pictorial survey of New York interior decoration issued by Charles R. Bevington in New York, documenting the New Amsterdam Theatre and Murray's Roman Gardens restaurant for architects, decorators and the trade. Plates are halftone photographs and tinted views of painted landscape panels, ornamental friezes, terra-cotta and plaster relief, colonnades and mirrored garden courts, useful for Art Nouveau and neo-classical border patterns, ceiling rosettes and figural panel motifs.
