New York typographical union no. 6 : study of a modern trade union and its predecessors
A history of New York's printers' union, written by George A. Stevens and issued in 1913 by the New York state printers in Albany for union members and labor historians. The plates are halftone reproductions of painted and photographic portraits—men in high collars, stocks and black coats, lit against dark vignetted grounds—useful as period faces, oval framing and coarse halftone texture.
