Ninety-six : a calendar for the year 1896 with sketches of some Canadian water-ways and appropriate selections from Canadian writers
An illustrated wall calendar for 1896, designed and published by the Toronto Art Students' League, pairing sketches of Canadian waterways with verse by Canadian poets. The plates are pen-and-ink and pencil landscapes — rail fences, cart tracks, bare winter trees, massed foliage — printed in pale grey-green, useful for hatching textures, open-sky compositions and low-contrast page backgrounds.
