A wall calendar for 1893 issued by the Toronto Art Students' League, pairing verses by Canadian poets with pen drawings by member artists. Quarterly plates set month grids inside cartouches built from bare branches, blossoming boughs with nesting birds, rococo shields and allegorical figures, giving designers date tables integrated with ornament, hand-lettered month names and scrollwork frames.
